Green Carpet Is More Than a Color
Market segments have really begun to recognize the benefits of building green which is why it’s no longer a trend; it is a mainstay. And carpet, carpet pads and carpet adhesives are contributing to green building in an important way – by helping to reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and emissions. The Carpet and Rug Institute’s (CRI) Green Label and Green Label Plus programs ensure that the lowest emitting products are being used in indoor environments. Likewise, CRI’s Seal of Approval (SOA) Program identifies effective carpet cleaning solutions and equipment that clean carpet right the first time and protects the carpet investment. Not all products clean effectively.
